On Sunday, August 1st, 2023, a TableTop Exercise (TTEx) based on the specific scenario of the power outage, was held at the School of Public Health (SPH). This TTEx aimed to identify the main gaps and improve the capability and skill of the Incident Command System (ICS) members in providing an effective and timely response to a power blackout at the SPH. For this purpose, the exercise was conducted in the presence of the dean of SPH, Dr. Kazem Nadafi, and other positions of the ICS. The TTEx stretched over two hours, and the strengths and weaknesses of the SPH were reviewed. Moreover, the ICS members practiced the duties and discussed them based on the job action sheets. Finally, it was decided to follow up on the lessons learned from this scenario by the relevant units of ICS.
