In this session, Arefeh Mousavi, PhD candidate of health in disasters and emergencies, presented a new paper that is entitled “Including quality in social network analysis to foster dialogue in urban resilience and adaptation policies”. This paper has been published in Environmental Science and Policy journal in 2019. At this meeting different aspects of the paper were discussed. Researchers conducted a SNA of organizations working across the territory of the city of Montreal on adaptation to climate change and resilience in order to delineate the network, and to understand contributors to the quality of network relationships that may influence policy implementation, a novel approach in SNAs
