The Second Field School in Health in Emergencies and Disasters has started in Bandar Abbas and Qeshm cities by the School of Public Health, Tehran University of Medical Sciences

The second practical course in the context of health in emergencies and disasters was launched in the cities of Bandar Abbas and Qeshm. It aims to transfer the scientific theoretical information into practice.

This field school started on 28th Jan and will continue till 2nd Feb 2023, in the cities of Bandar Abbas and Qeshm by the Department of Health in Emergencies and Disasters, School of Public Health of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. In this training course, 15 Ph.D. students specialized in health in emergencies and disasters, and ten experts in this field are participating for six days. In this course, experts and professors will provide practical training to students in the areas of emergency camps, maritime emergency, environmental health, logistics, vector-borne diseases, industrial emergency response, and natural disasters’ management.

It is important to note that the First Field School in Health in Emergencies and Disasters was held in Qom, Kashan, Shiraz, and Isfahan in 2022.
