Deputy for Students and Cultural Affairs

 

 

Introduction: The Deputy for Students and Cultural Affairs provides the framework to enhance the cultural level of students and other staff of the school. The main activity of this deputy is concerned with resolving welfare and financial issues of students. Other priorities of the deputy are to providing required intellectual and financial support to train capable students in order to contribute to the development of society and provide union and welfare services that are within the regulations and available capacities.

The general programs of this deputy are as follows:

• Planning to expand and strengthen religious and revolutionary values in all levels of the school

• Supervising cultural, political and social activities of the school

• Planning and supervising the extracurricular activities to further develop scientific, mental, cultural, social and artistic activities of the students

• Encouraging staff and students to participate in scientific and cultural programs; planning and supervising promotion of rell gious, political and social values by running classes, workshops, scientific and cultural seminars for students, professors and colleagues in the school

• Providing reports of held cultural programs within the corresponding year and submitting them to the director of cultural affairs of the university

• Performing any affairs related to students including investigation of problems of students and relaying them to the Deputy for Students and Cultural Affair to seek solution

• Coordinating between students' societies such as Students Basij, Quran and Itrat Center, Students Research Center

• Encouraging and supporting students and professors for innovation in cultural and educational programs

• Analyzing the needs of the deputy and reporting them to the Deputy of Students and Cultural Affairs of the university. The directors of this deputy since its establishment to present time in order have been Dr. Mahvi, Dr. Eshraghi, Dr. Rafinezhad, Dr. Shirazi, Dr. Dehghani, Dr. Gholami, and Dr. Nateghpour.

Vision: Satisfactorily resolving welfare and financial problems of students within the regulations

Program Overview:

  • Creating students database and identify capabilities of the students
  • Creating a joyful and active atmosphere and engaging students in the programs
  • Developing the culture of public exercising
  • Developing the capabilities of professors and staff in the field of professional commitment (professional clothing and behavior)
  • Developing the culture of participating in congregational prayer
  • Holding cultural exhibitions
  • Performing cultural projects, etc.
