Regarding its scientific position, Department of Pathobiology provides diagnosis services to patients, who are referred from hospitals and health care centers. Specialized microbiology laboratories, including MRSA and VRSA Diagnostic Lab, provide specialized diagnostic consultations to clinicians. Filamentous Bacteria Lab provides diagnoses for the infections caused by the filamentous bacteria such as Actinomyces, Streptomyces and Nocardia. Furthermore, consultation and diagnosis services for anaerobic infections are provided.
