Introduction

Department of Environmental Health Engineering has started its activities from the beginning of the establishment of the Faculty of Health. Regarding the increase in the number and variety of environmental pollutants as well as increase of awareness in the field of environmental health, the activities of this department has been expanded significantly.

 Mission

The mission of the Environmental Health Engineering department is to train graduates with the highest possible scientific and practical quality and to produce science through research, development and research activities, as well as to provide services to the community, country and environmental health professionals.

Vision

Providing an appropriate environment by emphasizing on the management of environmental risks that somehow threaten human health and the environment.

• Identification and assessment of environmental factors affecting health
• Estimation of health effects attributable to environmental factors
• Evaluation of the effectiveness of methods to eliminate or reduce exposure to environmental factors affecting health
• Participating or consulting in policy making for the management of environmental factors affecting health
